    Who Can Use This Service?

    Our Pharmacy First sinusitis service is available to most patients. Check if you're eligible:

    Adults aged 18 and over

    Symptoms lasting less than 12 weeks

    Not pregnant or breastfeeding (unless advised safe)

    No history of recurring sinusitis requiring specialist care

    What to Expect

    Here's what happens when you visit us for sinusitis treatment:

    Available Treatments

    Our pharmacists can provide or recommend the following treatments for sinusitis:

    Nasal decongestant sprays

    Steroid nasal sprays

    Pain relief (paracetamol or ibuprofen)

    Saline nasal rinses

    Antibiotics (only if bacterial infection is suspected)

    When to Seek Urgent Help

    Visit A&E or call 111 if you experience any of these symptoms:

    Symptoms last more than 10 days without improvement

    You have a high fever (over 38.5°C)

    Severe headache that doesn't respond to painkillers

    Swelling around your eyes

    Changes in vision or double vision
